1994 In recognition of the consolidation of the home infusion and home health markets, Healthcare Automation merges with Allen Associates, Inc. of Wakefield, MA. Allen Associates' software, SMARTCHART, designed to aid providers of home nursing and hospice services, is renamed The HomeHealth Solution and introduced to the home care market by Healthcare Automation.
1988 Healthcare Automation, headquartered in Warwick, RI, is founded to address the home infusion therapy industry's need for automation. Healthcare Automation launches The I.V. Solution software and fulfills the need for affordable, comprehensive software systems for both small and complex home infusion providers.
